Body filler pinholes can show through primer and paint, so correct them before finishing. They often come from trapped air, contamination or incomplete spreading.
Find defects early
Use guide coat after initial sanding to reveal tiny holes and low spots. Clean the repair before applying a compatible finishing filler.
Refine the surface
Apply thin layers only where needed, sand with an even pattern and inspect again. Do not expect primer to hide deep defects.
